In this article Ted Turner tells the readers of the Washington Monthly just what’s wrong with big media. It basically ends up being a case study about what’s wrong with modern corporations, and why there’s no such thing as “business ethics” anymore. It’s a long read but it’s a very good one and everyone should check it out.

Our webhost has been down for the better part of a week now. (I can hear the cries of “THANK YOU, CAPTAIN OBVIOUS!” right now.) I had to recreate a bunch of shit when it came back up. Everything seems to be working at the moment, but some data was lost, and I’m not sure what. All I know anymore is what I’ve got on the damn site, so if some of your shit was lost, let me know and I’ll reload from the most recent backup I have (about three weeks ago, so here’s hoping it wasn’t brand-new.) Also if your e-mail account, ftp account, subdomain, BLT drive, hardware flow control, or soap dispenser fails to work let me know and I will either fix it or ridicule you severely.
I’m not sure where I’m going from here.
