Tired of letting people down
No matter what I do, I always seem to be letting people down. People expect me to go to college and kick its ass simply because I’m ’smart.’ This wonderfully intangible ’smart’ quality doesn’t seem to be visible to my math professsors, because they tell me I’m ’stupid’ - an equally intangible quality that serves no purpose other to confuse.
So meanwhile, I’m letting my folks down, my friends down, random people I know that work at Costco down, and I can’t seem to do anything right. No matter what I say or do, it’s wrong and I should be doing it a different way. Dammit, I think I’m going to get a job delivering mail. At least then everybody should expect me to do everything wrong.
