The Last LAN results
So it’s been and gone, and I’ve had a couple of days to digest it.
As far as I can determine, it was the biggest lan I’ve ever had here. Hell, it was bigger than a couple of our XG events. Here’s the final tally:

Lots of people dropped by to say HI as well, like Endo, Jay and Pat.
Many beers, Pepsi’s and Bawls were consumed, many good pieces of advice were delivered, many impossible shots were delivered and generally a good time was had by all.
Turns out that my e-mail was a bit of a premonition. I had been working on my parents, trying to convince them to rent the house as we had some suitable renters right in front of us, but thanks to a bit of personal dilemma, it looks as though they’re going to have to sell the house very shortly. So it’s really going to happen: this was the last lan at 457 Taylor Street. And I’m sad.
But I’m encouraged by the warmth and generosity exhibited by everyone attending this LAN. I really do love you all, and I will miss many of you. The rest of you I’ll see in Moscow. Beer’s on me.
